UNIFORM POLICY

At Our Little Vaishnavs, we believe that a smart and tidy appearance is very important for all of our pupils.

The Our Little Vaishnavs School has no specific uniform, however children should dress for the weather. Although Vaishnav dress is encouraged, be sure the daily clothes is light weight cotton and not festival dress, as this will cause much restriction during activities and much disappointment to children if their clothes are ruined.

Girls should have their skirts and dresses sitting on or below their knees. If leggings are worn, the blouse or top needs to cover their bottoms. This applies to Grade 3 - 10.

Boys are encouraged to wear kurtas with dhotis or long bhakta pants.
In the summer boys can wear Kurtas with long Shorts or Bermuda shorts.

Caps and Hats are always needed for outdoors.

In Winter, children should be dressed appropriately. (Socks and indoor shoes are required).

Sports uniform can be worn to school on the specific PE days.

We would like all our pupils and parents to appreciate the importance that dressing properly plays in contributing to the ethos and learning environment of the school.
